* Northern Pike, Bluegill, Crappie, Perch, Walleye, Small mouth Bass.
* A survey conducted in 1999 by lie INDNR showed that stocked walleyes were ajpearing in angler catches. These fish, hcwever, were not harvested, as in 1999 the 1998 year class had not yet reached the 14-inch minimum length limit. Catches of “legal-siz& fish began in 200C and likely will continue beyond. Stocking scheduled thiouyli 2002 should help to establish a viahiF walleyn fishery.
The creel survey also showed that the majority of anglers were practicing catch-and-release with largemouth bass. Only 6 fish 14 inches or larger were harvested out of a total of 9,150 bass caught during the survey period. In part, this s a reflection of the 14-inch minimum length limit in effect for bass species. More anglers sought largemouth bass than any other species during the creel survey period. Average weight of harvested bass was 1.63 lb.
