April 14, 1977; Declaration of covenants, conditions and restrictions recorded XI articles. June, 14. 1979; A charter membership agreement was made between Camelot Lake of the Valley Corporation and R. Clark Smith on. Along with this agreement a special incentive offering was made to the first 12 purchasers to become charter members giving them oversight of the skiing activities on Lake Rachel (south lake).

August 24, 2003; Resolution by the Camelot Property Owners Association adopted, establishing the primary right of adjacent lot owners to any strip of land abutting the water's edge.
November 8, 2005; The Kosciusko County Board of Zoning appeals granted limited variance rights via self-governance by Camelot Owners Association for stairs, decks, platforms and outbuildings.
