Information: 22 miles southeast of Eugene, Dexter Lake is a popular recreation area offering year-round fishing, seasonal water skiing, sailing, swimming, picnicking and hunting. The area is also managed for wildlife habitat such as waterfowl, blacktail deer, upland game birds, wintering elk, bald eagles, osprey and many other species. Dexter Lake (also Dexter Reservoir) is a reservoir in Lane County, Oregon, United States. It is on the Middle Fork Willamette River, and downriver from Lookout Point Lake. The communities of Dexter and Lowell are located next to the lake. Oregon Route 58 travels alongside the southern shore of the lake.
