Information: Eagle Mountain Lake is a small freshwater lake in North Texas. The lake was created by damming the "muddy" fork of the Trinity river and sits bellow Lake Bridgeport and above Lake Worth (Texas). The lake dam was finished on October 24, 1932. In 1965, the District voters (Tarrant Regional Water District) approved a bond issue to allow the District to install improved controlled spillways.
