Blue catfish, hybrid striped bass, and white crappie provide the most consistent fishing opportunities at Fort Phantom Hill. Largemouth bass can occasionally be good as well. Florida largemouth bass were introduced in 1976.
Four boat ramps are available when the lake is full. When water is low, two additional ramps are available at Johnson Park. Excellent shore fishing access is available at several areas of the reservoir. Primitive camping is available at Johnson Park. There is no fishing boat rental or marina, and no handicap fishing access. There are a couple of bait stores. For more details, choose a point on the map or a name in the chart below.
