Information: The Village of Lake Tanglewood is now a well established community. It began in the fall of 1956. Lake Tanglewood is located on the Prairie Dog Town Fork of the Red River on the north end of Palo Duro Canyon. It is in the northeast corner of Randall County. Lake Tanglewood is surrounded by the beautiful Palo Duro Canyon, and the water of the lake offers the best of family living...fishing, boating, swimming, and water skiing. There is a 18-hole golf course and residents also admire the scenery and the abundant wildlife. The monthly dues are approximately $130.00 and is used to maintain roads, supply water and other administrative duties. Lake Tanglewood is a private gated community located just minutes from Amarillo and Canyon. The gate is manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week for your privacy and security. Each member is issued a security code. When you have guest arriving you simply call the gate guard and give the name of your party and your code number. When the guest arrive at the gate, they will be required to sign-in before proceding through the gate.
