Information: Pinecrest Lake is a picturesque summer lake located 30 miles East of Sonora just off Hwy 108 at an elevation of 5600'. The recreation area is located on the West side of the lake and is comprised of the Pinecrest Campground Complex, the day use beach area and marina, a small shopping center and recreation cabins. There is also a USFS Ranger Station located at the entrance to the Recreation Area.
